1. Are we gentle?

At the practice of Doctors Steven, we treat you like our own family! We will take the time to listen to your concerns and understand your needs. We do our best to make your visit as pain-free and pleasant as possible. We offer many ways of doing this, from nitrous oxide to I.V. sedation (sleep dentistry). In fact, treating the fearful patient is one of our specialties. We have done this successfully for more than 35 years using various sedation techniques that are safe and effective. Or, perhaps just explaining things and working slowly is all you need. We are not under a "production goal" and, therefore, we don't rush your treatment through. We like to take the right amount of time, do a terrific job on your teeth, and get to know you as a friend.

2. Are we experienced?

We are proud to have been in practice in the same location for more than 50 years. Our three dentists have a combined total of 55 years in practice and can handle almost any kind of dental need based on that experience. Our three hygienists have more than 35 years experience between them, and our highly experienced staff members have been with the practice for 10-20 years. This means better and more consistent service to our patients. We think you will feel the difference that this level of experience can make.

3. Quality of treatment?

Quality dental care combines the most advanced procedures and high tech equipment with individualized treatment. At our office, we strive to give a high level of quality and service. We use experienced dental labs that have been in the business for more than 35 years. We also use the highest quality dental materials and supplies. In every case, various treatment options are considered before selecting the best one based on each individual patient's needs.

4. How are you treated?

You will immediately feel welcomed by our warm and friendly team of dental professionals and dedicated staff. Many of our patients remark on the pleasant and friendly atmosphere of our office. We pride ourselves on the personal attention that we give to our patients. We are not a "clinic" that runs patients through like an assembly line.

5. What services do we offer?

Our office offers a wide range of services all under one roof-much more than is available in most dental offices. We offer all the important basics such as fillings, cleanings, crowns, bridges, root canals, and dentures. But, in addition, we also offer cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, on-site orthodontics, TMJ treatment, gum treatment, full-mouth restoration, and I.V. sedation dentistry. We also see children from ages four and up.

6. How much will it cost?

We offer carefully planned appointment times to create our dental masterpieces-our Michelangelos-and we feel that we give each patient a high level of quality and value for the service they receive. Fees vary depending on the type of service performed. We can usually give you several options for your treatment with different costs involved. We also have several payment options and payment plans to help you afford your treatment.

Meet Our Dentist

Steven Francis, DD
Dr. Steven Francis completed his undergraduate studies from Loma Linda University in 1975. He then stayed on to earn his dental degree from Loma Linda University's School of Dentistry in 1980. In addition, he has completed a two-year Certificate in Orthodontics from Progressive Orthodontics as well as a two-year Certificate in Implant Dentistry from the Misch Implant Institute.

Dr. Francis is committed to keeping abreast of the latest advances in dentistry through continuing education. He has completed numerous courses and professional seminars since 1980 in areas such as cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, orthodontics, practice management, I.V. sedation, and various areas of general dentistry.

Dr. Francis resides in Riverside and is married with two sons. He enjoys reading, the outdoors, and life in general!
